I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but the small pockets on sunvisors are usually there to store tickets from parking garages and lots (the little card with the time that is stamped when you pull in).
This is what I used them for, parking tickets, nothing else.

That makes sense. I thought about highway toll roads, but who the he'll doesn't have ezpass in this day and age.
Parking lot pass makes sense tho
I don't because there's only one toll in my area, and I only use it on rare occasion.
I use it for the toll ticket when I go to South Florida.
I would never put my parking ticket in the slot because I want someone stealing the car to have to at least stop and pay the full lost ticket rate at the cashier. Hopefully the cameras will be working too...
It fits my work's gate card that's plastic, size of a credit card, but about 4x the thickness. It fits perfectly so I think there's a good chance it's for that.
