2010 IS-F - full stereo system install
#17
That's all, folks! Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions.
Big thanks to Bing of Simplicity in Sound! He's a great guy and a fellow auto enthusiast, and he was awesome to work with through every step of the process. And I have no reservations in recommending him to anyone who may be interested in some stereo work.
Now I've got to get back in the car to do some more driving and listening!
Cheers!

Congrats on your system! Bing did my subwoofer install (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...s-of-pics.html). The guy is a MASTER!
Are you going to be at EOS (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nor...fied-meet.html)?Would be cool to check out your car in person.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words! I'm am definitely happy with the results and I'm very much enjoying the tunes again.
Funny, in my previous ride, an '07 Cayman S, I hardly ever had the stereo on, since I was always just listening to the engine and exhaust. It was a much more engaging ride, especially with a stick shift. The IS-F is just a different type of car, more luxurious and more of a GT to me. With a quieter interior, a good stereo system seems more appropriate.
Not that I don't like the sound of the engine and exhaust in the IS-F... but I may have to get the JoeZ after hearing s4play's a few months ago...

Hmm, will probably go slow with mods. Just something simple like black pearl badges. Very tempted to go with a JoeZ exhaust, though that's not exactly a visible exterior mod. Also tossing around the idea of painting the roof gloss black.
Of course, seeing all of you on the boards with so many mods is contagious, and bad for my pocketbook...

Ha! Anytime you're free! Hope I didn't scare you too much. Definitely a fun car. You should take a ride-along at the track sometime with an instructor level driver. That would really scare you...

Not sure if I'll be able to make EOS, but if not, we can always try to arrange another time to meet up so you can take a listen and we can compare.
