3 way for the adjustability for the high and low speed compression for the track.

Off the shelf stuff is typically best guess to make the masses happy. Racing gear is infinitely customizable, so you can spend ridiculous amounts of time getting it sorted out. This is why having a really good tuner/crew chief is so important. The watch never lies, and your guys turning wrenches should understand how to translate what isn't working now into what will be working for the event.

Since it's not an "off the shelf" solution, I really doubt they'll end up being less than stellar. Most racing parts don't work on install, they have to be tuned to work right. The manufacturer assumes you know this and are willing to put in the time to make it work.
Off the shelf stuff is typically best guess to make the masses happy. Racing gear is infinitely customizable, so you can spend ridiculous amounts of time getting it sorted out. This is why having a really good tuner/crew chief is so important. The watch never lies, and your guys turning wrenches should understand how to translate what isn't working now into what will be working for the event.

Not even close. JIC looks like Megan coilovers next to KW.
You won't find a Japanese brand coilover that will perform like the American or European. The only Japanese coilover that even come close is Ohlin from Japan, but only because they're under strict supervision of the original Ohlin (Sweden).
