Default Can the shift "beep" be set to a specific rpm?

Hello, does anyone know if the beep shift point can be changed. Also, maybe be a dumb question but is the beep like a shift light, can I just shift when it sounds so I don't have to look at the tach?

I've had my 08 sfp for almost two years and never really thought about it until now. I seem to be hearing the beep often now. Just wasn't sure if i could be screwing something up. Thanks for any input.

I don't believe you can change when it beeps, but yes the whole point of the beep is so you can shift w/o looking @ the tach

I was playing around the other day with the shift mode... and got the car to shift at the beep on it's own... by putting it in Drive / Sport mode... and shifting manually from 1st to 2nd... after I shifted to 2nd manually... it did the rest, perfectly at the beep. Anyone else know about this?

I want to say when I tried this before, it treated it like a manual, and wouldn't shift... but maybe I was in Manual only mode?

In Sport mode and Drive, if I hit the gas hard (all the way down), the car will shift at redline, very manual-feeling.

If you notice on your display there will be your gear position plus some dots, if you downshift in drive via the paddles the number of dots will decrease, the car will then upshift/downshift as needed but will never shift over what you have it set to unless you flip the paddle past that point. So if you downshift to 4th the car will use 1-4 but never 5 unless you tell it to. This mode is only temporary and will expire after a certain amount of time or if you hold down the upshift paddle for a couple seconds it will go back to normal. As long as there is another dot to go the car will shift itself, if there is no dot it will rev till hitting the limiter. This is more like a "semi-manual" mode.
