Blame the Euro and the Yen. The Dollar is sinking like a rock and Lexus buys the rotors from Brembo in Euros with Yen, then sells them here in Dollars. I'm not surprised. I bet this means a big increase in business for Centric/Raybestos.

LoL....

I love the outside label on the OEM Rotor Box... "Made in Italy"

Figs, do you know the weight of the OEM rotor compared to 28 lbs. for the Raybestos?

If these produced less brake dust than the brembo, I would pick them up.

I'm running the Raybestos and notice ZERO difference compared to stock. They both dust the same and as far as weight, they are both heavy and probably within a few grams of each other considering they are identical in design.

The HPD instructor that I had back in November with an F recommended them to me. I asked him how they compared to the stock Brembo's and he said the Brembo's had slightly more initial bite, but to us average drivers we won't notice any difference except for the money we saved.

i had these pads on the track with factory rotors and brand new pads were gone in three hours... metal on metal not to mention i lost 100s of feet in braking ability after 5-6 laps when they heated up. would not reccomend you bring those pads on a track.

Did you get the pro or advanced Raybestos pads?

You are most likely right, but I would still like to know the weight of the OEM rotors to be sure?

Too bad there are not any light weight options for us, it would be an easy way to reduce rotational mass and unsprung weight.

I submitted a feeler thread for 2-Peice rotors at least fronts for the F a while back and got too little interest to invest. Was I wrong?
