I would be uncomfortable with that level of clearance for some reason. It fits... but that sure is tight lol.

Anyways,FWIW I'd put my money on it being fine too. I've def seen guys run with less clearance. Just keep an eye on it to be double sure if you have any doubts.

Lol not sure how that makes it better... probably more risky for high speed/performance applications than average daily driving duty.

Ouch. I was hoping to potentially go with Enkei 19x8.5" PF01 +45 Squared Setup for Street.
Enkei 17x8 PF01 +45 on rear for drag radials, but that's too close for comfort.
Anyone using a matching combo on something else?

Forgestar 17x10 5x114.3 +50 Offset
Is this white Lexus IS-F with these wheels on this forum?
https://dragracingwheels.com/blog/20...7540r17-tires/
It looks like the Forgestar fits, including the F14, allowing for 275/40/17 tires to fit without any modifications. I'm looking at all the photos, and it looks like it tucks the wheel in nicely. The only thing I cannot see is how many mm clearance there is with the brakes.

Those look good. Forgestar generally aren’t cheap if I remember correctly. I wish they posted a price.

You can post a Lexus for sale with only one post.

Forgestar F14 17x10 +50
I was originally considering on Enkei PF01s, but after seeing how close it was on brake clearance, it was too close for comfort.
So I decided to take the plunge on the Forgestar F14 Drag Pack 17x10 +50.
A bunch of places sell them for around $300 as it is an off-the-shelf model.
If you are willing to spend a little bit more for custom size and offset, consider 17x9 +50. This would allow you to run both 245/45/17 and 275/40/17 drag radials.
Otherwise, a 10" width wheel is a little too wide for a 245 width drag radials.
This thing clears the brakes nicely. I put in a 1/4" shim in-between the wheel and the brake caliper to illustrate the clearance, which means there is at least 6mm of clearance.

Forgestar F14 17x10 +50 Update
Finally got drag radials on them. Unfortunately Nittos and MTs are on back-order and I didn't want to wait anymore so I went with Toyo Proxes TQ 275/40/17.
Here is how it looks...
Plenty of brake caliper clearance.
Tucks in nicely and it looks like everything clears without having to roll fenders or anything.
