Default Track run yesterday!

Just got back from the track. I have to say I was frustrated with my initial results but it turned out okay on my bracket run (although I did lose lol). My first run was my third time at the track (first time with the ISF) and I really didn't know what to expect. Test run I just rolled it out to get a feel for the car but hit the rev limiter in third gear. I'm like hitting my head on the wall when I saw the slip. HORRIBLE but the mph was pretty good! I was about to give up but my buddy suggested I take another run. After waiting a couple of hours I was up again and I dialed in at 13.0 to be safe (I thought I was going to hit a 13 second run. Well I'm proud to say for a newbie at the track I did pretty well. Btw, I have an intake and exhaust. Check out the slip below...I'm sure if I practice on my launch and get a better 60 ft I'll be lower in 12's. Oh and I wanted to line up with an m3 but the guy was hitting 13.5's all day. Anyways here's the slip and for the pro's at the track...chime in and give your .02 on what I should do next time.

First run...I like the mph

Second run....I know with some more practice I can get a much better 12 second run

And I forgot to mention that some people are seriously douchebags...the same M3 guys were in front of me at the tech inspection. As soon as I pulled up behind them they're like staring me down and all I can recall is..."Aye papi ISF...ha ha ha"

Here's the vid....The guys in the lane were betting on the rsx next to me...

Good job with the improvement. Finding time at the track is a difficult thing.

Good job. Definitely you will get better with more experience. Can't believe you guys have to wait hours for your next run.

It was a event and there was a big crowd at Englishtown. My first run was at 1 pm and then after 6pm. I'm going next week.

Nice runs Seems like a fun event! It's finally starting to get a little cooler her at night and the tracks are staying open late.

Keep us updated on how it goes next week as well!

Good second run. Douchebags for sure. Is that a requirment for BMW ownership? Glad I bought the F. My friend from Dallas told me I would not fit in with the beemer crowd. I did not know that was a positive statment until now!
