Default A few more noob questions...

I was wondering...

1) Do the ISx50 and IS-F share the same front grille?

2) Has anyone rewired their foglights so that they can be turned on without having the lowbeam headlights on?

3) Has anyone figured out a way to have the mirrors tilt down further when in reverse? The mirrors tilt down now, but not far enough to see my wheels. I have to manually tilt them down further everytime, which is a little annoying.

Thanks!

Good to know on the grille. I was eyeing the Kazz Sport grill in the classifieds

The front grill, unfortunately, is not the same.

A few people in the 2IS forums have done the fog light mod. I'm in the process of making that happen also. As far as I know, there's an extra switch involved and some wiring splicing obviously. If my schedule permits, I might do it this coming weekend. I'll post pics if I do.

You're pretty much stuck with the factory default tilt range I'm afraid. I know it's annoying to manually tilt down more to see the wheels.

Awesome, please share with us the foglight process! So with that mod, do the foglights still turn off when I pull my high beam lights?

Thanks

^^I'm almost certain if the dedicated switch is ON, then the fogs will stay on. I'll find out and let you know when I'm done with mine.

#3 - Lower the side mirror to your liking and save it to 1 of the 3 Memory

I already have seat memory 2 to be my "reverse" setting. It just feels unnatural to have to put my car into park, hit 2, then go into reverse....

With #3, I found that to be an issue in my 350. Once I got the F, I chose to raise the seat position a bit (thanks to the hood), which also resolved the side mirror issue.

Not perfect, but as a more simple consideration, perhaps readjusting can help.
