Quick answer needed: Daytime running lights
Can anyone tell me which lights come on for the daytime running lights? I'm having my car programmed tomorrow, and I want to know which bulbs come on for the DRLs. Is it the small wedge bulb (194) in the inner housing, the high beam bulb (9005), or is it the xenon low beams?
Thanks guys.

Do the DRLs stay on when I turn on my low beam xenons? Right now, my small wedge bulb on the inner housing comes on when I turn on my low beams. Will this change when I have the DRL option turned on?

DRL will be off once the low beams are on. If you just turn one click on the switch, the parking lights will be on along with the DRL.

1) No they will not
2) No it will not change that function...

Thanks for the answers guys. Got the DRLs turned on today and love the look. (I have 2500K yellow DRL bulbs and parking wedge bulbs)
There's something sexy about a Lexus with HID low beams and yellow fog and DRLs. I tried this look with the E46 M3 but it just didn't work.

^^ What brand DRL's are you running??
I would keep an eye on the bulb harness.. Since I have seen non oem bulbs melt the oem harness on the IS's..

Luminics. Good to know on the harness. Would the DRLs be as much of a concern as the fogs? The DRLs bulbs are running at 50% power most of the time.

Yes...
The "50% power" didn't really matter much.. The plastic around the female connector still melted..
Just keep an eye on them, maybe every 3 months or soo..
