Winter protection?
Hi all,
I'm taking delivery of 2011 next week....Very pumped...trading the 2001 IS 300 we got 11 years ago.
I'm on the east coast and winter is near. Are any of you doing anything to the undercarriage to prevent rust/corrosion caused by the salt? I spay the underside of my SUV with fluid film.....anyone doing anything like this?
Thanks!!

Thanks for responding....
Yes true....but they still throw lots of salt down when icy conditions are possible.....spraying the undercarriage clean is prob the best bet...other then trying not to drive too much in the winter months.
I just want to do everything possible to preserve the investment....we did a good job with IS 300 we had for 11 years...did develop quite a bit of rust underneath...so thats another reason I was considering fluid film I put under my truck.
