I won't race anyone in my ZR1, too much to lose, nothing to gain, about the only time I drop the hammer on some poor unsuspecting dolt is because I need to get over a lane or something. The ZR1 is also vulnerable to losing just due to its raw power will overwhelm the traction. It's stout from about 90 mph but a 911 turbo or GTR is as quick or quicker out of the hole due to its better grip. A kid in a WRX sTi wanted a race, but I wouldn't give it to him. No one else has tried, but it wouldn't matter. It's more important for me to stay out of trouble. If an IS-f pulled alongside I'd just give him a thumbs up and watch him go.

I got way more of this in my Corvette than I ever have in the IS-F. The F is pretty much invisible by comparison. The only ones that seem to nudge with any regularity are M3 drivers. There's lots and lots and lots of M3's on the roads in Silicon Valley. The ones to watch out for are the older M3 with lots of Dinan stickers on them. They seem to have something to prove.

Other than that a few thumbs up, the odd admirer in a parking lot here and there. Not that many people spot the IS-F.

im not hating on those in the service because i have a lot of friends that serve and lots that have died for this wonderful country but im just sayin that its those people who try to edge me on to race have that military sticker on the window and are white...sorry if i offended any one but that just the way it is in hawaii

Well, there is this Acura CL-S who has been driving aggressively whenever he see me in the morning. Well, today I said enough is enough, to make the long story short, he ran away with his tail between his legs..:-)

Thanks Chris. I do not really street race specially in icy streets and snow tires but this guy probably thought I was driving a souped up IS250 or 350 (no disrespect) and really was being cocky. In actuality, I liked his CL-S which looked pristine.
Anyways, lets plan the Elite visit after Christmas.

I had an Acura TSX before which I loved but outgrew because of its sluggishness. Given this, I am really familiar with Acuras. This boy racer obviously was not familiar with the IS-Fast!
