Where do you put the jackstands?
Sooo, . . . I think I know where to put the hydraulic jack, but, does anyone know exactly where to put the jackstands? I don't want to crack pain to bend anything.
I was looking at a friends new Mercedes and they have obvious points at which you place jackstands. The IS F, not so much.
Anyone have a good picture? I appreciate the help.

Look on the sideskirt. There's an 2 arrows on each side.

I use a hocky puck as well to jack on the body seams to prevent folding. And since you cannot put a jackstand where the Jack is when its up, I typically placen them on the boxed unibody frame rail, the rear suspension subframe or anywhere else that is substantial and will hold the stand secure.

just for clarity, I use the pucks for the jack. The jackstands typically have a slot to fit the body seam OK. I will depend on the jack stand design.

I used this bolted metal flange on the frame rail as it bends upwards torwards the engine. I appears to have an flat portion for a jack stand.
In the belly pic, if North is directly up, then North-East of the red circles.
A sloted 4 inch 2x4 piece of wood works great on a jack to jack the car at its jack point.

No, I just set the car down slowly. I've only bent one once in 20+ years and it was a wonder the only bad thing that happened was a bent seam with that particular incident.

Founds these pics using the search...
For the front, its a spot just in front of the oil pan.. for the rear, its the center of the rear differential..
This is what it looks like in the manual..
There is a spot for the 2WD and 4WD
Just be careful not to catch the oil pan..

1. No it's NOT an ISF, it's an ISX50 RWD.
2. The ISF does NOT have a true dual exhaust system. This is a defect that IMHO, can be remedied either in the aftermarket or by a modification to the stock exhaust.
