Great choice. I see myself if not patient enough to wait for the next redesign of the F, then an upgrade to the GTR as well. Please keep us up to date with what's myth vs. reality when it comes to the notorious schedule maintenance cost of owning a GTR.
reality is this : 18,000 miles on my GTR and I have only spent 2k in maintenance, that is Transmission fluid, both diffs, and all oil and filter changes. This is over the course of almost 3 years of ownership. I think the ISF has cost more in maintenance by a little bit

I dont think the ISF is a better built car but rather built differently. Trim materials are better with the ISF and also exterior paint quality is better. GTR to me is more solid
Congrats, and the maintenance convo is so odd everywhere. Some say its pricey, others say its really not bad at all. I guess its dependent on how you drive it, but enjoy it as thats quite a car.
You might want to give the AMS kit a look. Comparable kits yield more hp, tq and better spool up with the AMS kit. The turbo that greddy uses is not really up to date compared to the AMS.
nice car. i actually had two gtr's; one white, one red, before my is-f along with two e92 m3's the gtr is super fast. my brother still has his. mine made 620 whp but for daily driving it gets old. i own a zr1 and it is a solid daily driver but i still love the F.
