Default totaled the IS-F

about a few weeks ago i could have sworn i woke up that day thinking on weather i should keep my car or trade it in for something else... unfortunately God took matters into his own hands and started a week of rain right here in southern cali.

on one particular day during this week i could have sworn the light was green but that stupid Costco truck in front of me thought otherwise and decided to slam on his brakes. and so there i go right into the back tire of the semi....

verdict....
sprained right ankle
fractured right wrist
fractured right arm.
broken nose (lots of blood)
lacerations to the left arm face and neck (airbag)
left hand fingernails bent backwards

and 60,000 dollars worth of mangled metal.

insurance company took care of me right away.... the car is history and they took it right away.. i only had time to get my custom subwoofer and amp and the dismantler took my 20's off the car so i was able to get that and my V1 was surprisingly there so i was able to grab that.

they paid off the rest of my loan which was 36,402.27 and they even prorated my recent car payment i made on the first.

so...sorry to be the bear of bad news.... however im healing good i can finally type words on my computer without splints.

on the brighter side of things the following is for sale i have

1. ISF custom wheels ZONE9....
2. custom subwoofer for sale morel sub with zapco amp and cache switch

im keeping my V1... most likely ill pick up an m6 when it comes out....

pics of the stuff for sale soon to come....

P.S. Passenger side front Tire severly thrashed from accident but Rim is in good shape (surprisingly)

thanks for all the help on this board guys.... thanks for all the help and facts you gave me... godspeed and be careful out there...

Sorry about the accident, but you say when the m6 comes out? I thought BMW does/did make an m6? In fact I've seen some around Houston (unless theyre posing? , not likely though)

glad to hear you're doing better. cars can be replaced, but it's hard to replace a person. best of luck on your continued recovery!

Given the injuries you suffered, you may have some words for fellow users as too "proper" seat belt usage...? Glad to hear you are recovering well.
