On my way to work this morning...stopped at the post office to get the mail....parked, put the car in park and hit the button to turn it off...as I got out I realized the radio was still on but the engine was off....got back in and hit the button...the car tried to start but didn't...tried it in neutral same thing...got out and tried to lock it with the remote, nothing...all the dash lights were on...some I had never seen before...back to park and hit the button quickly and the lights went out and the wheel retracted just like usual when you shut down....hit it again and it started fine and has been fine since....I was in a hurry this am and totally not thinking so can't recall anything unusual about how I turned the car off the first time...maybe didn't hold the button long enough?
Called the service guy who was nice and said if it did anything unusual at all to bring it in....
Anyone ever have a similar experience or thoughts?
AT&T cell phone is well known for causing static interference. Place an AT&T cell phone closely next to alarm clock radio, conference phone, computer speakers, home speakers (even with a high-end) and you will eventually hear statics when they're all on.

side note, i've noticed my buttons act funny when the key fob is right next to my iphone, so now they are in different pockets - problem solved.
