You will like this shifter. It grips much better than the stock one.

I tracked down the manufacturer of the wheel. They can make for 3GS but will be expensive!

Okay, I gave in . I just placed my order for the Black CF / blue stitching flat bottom wheel. I was going to hold off, but hey, I can easily get $300 to $350 back from selling my stock wheel anyway.

Agreed too. The silver CF wheel is a little on the gawdy side of the fence. Besides, when I'm driving, I'm not looking at the steering wheel and console at the same time anyway.

I may be interested in your OEM wheel. It should be a direct swap with my lil ol IS350? Do you have pics? Also, what year had the blue on the bottom of the wheel?

Thanks...

I saw Lexura1414's wheel this afternoon and it was extremely nice . It looks even better in person. I guarantee you will not be disappointed when you open the box

Yes, it's a direct fit for any IS250 and IS350. I'll post pics when it's time to sell. I still have my steering wheel cover on right now. The wheel's in excellent condition; I always wear gloves when I drive so there are very little signs of wear on the wheel.

I thought it was the 2011s. Anyway, I saw the blue bottomed steering wheel at a dealership and it didn't look that good. It was a drab navy blue and just didn't really match with anything else in the interior. I like the all black one.

How does it install? Is the air bag a problem?

Sewell has an instruction video on how to install. Just go to the Sewell website, go to the interior section for IS-F's and click on the Flat bottom steering wheels. You will see the the intructional video

Here is the link:

FYI, I had my wheel installed by a Lexus dealership.

That's what the service manual says, but I haven't ever seen it be a problem. In theory, you could ignite the squib with either static electricity or power being applied inadvertently when you plug it in. Removing it doesn't present nearly the same concern, but there are LOTS of warnings in the service manual about making sure there is no power when you unplug or plug the airbag connector.

FWIW, they say DEATH is a possibility...and people think airbags save lives....riiiighhhtttt.

Wow this wheel looks super cool ~ I love it! Very nice black CF - just wrap the rest of your silver dash pieces in black CF like mine and you're done

I hate the silver CF anyways - so odd looking IMO.

It's easy if you want the F-logo - just scan and create one using a vinyl decal and you're done.

So how much thicker is this wheel? Is it the same as the e92 m3's? The BMW wheel feels amazing, wonder why Lexus couldn't do this?
