Nope, they're both nice looking factory wheels, but I actually never found the 08-09 wheels to be overly special. I prefer the 10+, especially after I saw them in person (though they're not fun to clean).

And no, it wouldn't be crazy. Go with what you like.

I agree with Shinobi; visually the 10-11 wheels are more interesting/appealing tho, indeed, somewhat a pita to clean. (Fortunately the brake dust/road crud isn't too adherent but I'm going to Zaino them anyway as an experiment.) Not to say that the pre-10 wheels are unattractive; both styles are tasteful and clean.

Engine break in is 621 miles (1000 km) according to manual. Be sure to bed your brakes, too.
