Default Sat radio question

I'm currently looking at a couple of 2008 IS-F's (both with navs), and neither have sat radio. Are all 2008 models capable of running Sirius sat radio (with the tuner module and harness)? If not, how can I know if it can run it?

Thanks

Brad

Yes, I have Sirius in my car and in my opinion... it sucks *****. Maybe the XM is better? I get drop outs all the time and the sound quality is like a bad MP3.

FYI, if you get XM added on, parts and labor will cost you about $900 through dealer.

They are pre-wired for both but the XM is easier to install since it goes in the rear right quarter of the car in the trunk. The Sirius installs in the center console IIRC.

I have XM in mine and have had no service issues. Since they merged you can get XM with the best of Sirius package and have them both.

The installation is plug and play and you can buy it at Sewell Lexus for $386.25 if you sign up as a Club Lexus member. It also looks like Sewell does not offer the Sirius tuner any longer.
