the 2012 gt-r's are faster now...0-60 in 2.9s or less...but they have about 45 more hp than the previous gt-r's...The IS-F was designed for racing on a road course and daily driving...I think the GT-R's are also designed for both but Nissan has been in the game longer for racing with their previous GT-R models...
The new GTR is very fast and will walk away from a 420whp isf. No question about it.

Its capable but its a full street car a/c and all. full interior roll bar, extinguisher the works. see my sig ##'s that was only 20-25 psi boost by gear max is 32psi....

Whats the power rating on these new GTR's????? How fast are we talking? The isf intake manifold is in the mail, Im going to order the Headers next week. I love this ISF but it needs more power.
Sorry Splat. No offense to anyone and no joking....honestly. I thought the GTR was too fast. But I have a buddy with one and he keeps talking about how nobody can beat him. I was just wondering if there was anyway possible I might be able to mod out my F to beat him. I doubt he will ever do anything to his stock GTR.
What are the stock VS stock figures? and a rolling start or a down hill would help you considerably. you have 60hp handi-cap and are facing a car with a broad torque and hp curve. But some added high end ponies and a 70 or 80mph roll and maybe?

That race was '11 LFA vs '10 GTR.
Wait for the '12 GTR... it's lighter and has 40hp and 20tq more. The 2012 GTR was created for one reason, to battle the GT2.
Honestly, I don't know why, I just don't like the LFA. I think its probably because it barely beat a stock GTR and costs $400k! Seriously, a GT2 RS is around $250k and would absolutely obliterate it.

aint that the truth. even when a car they claim isnt as good beats a bimmer or mercedes in their tests they claim intangibles and like the losing car still. they're completely bias especially the herman munster guy (jeremy clarkson). still watch the show religiously because well, its about fast cars most of the time.
plus, i really like watching the celebs in the reasonably priced car.
