Nice setup! There is a kid that goes to my school with a EK/EG hatch (idk the difference but its older) that runs 9s and traps 154mph. Car is really sick but probably not as street friendly as your car. Well i know for a fact since he lost to my buddys 140mph gtr on the streets

Not to get off topic but the LFA has been proven faster around a track than the new GT2.
How is it a worthless post? The OP asked a good question, and got a few good answers.
... From a roll... YES
Traction>Hp
That race was '11 LFA vs '10 GTR.
Wait for the '12 GTR... it's lighter and has 40hp and 20tq more. The 2012 GTR was created for one reason, to battle the GT2.
Honestly, I don't know why, I just don't like the LFA. I think its probably because it barely beat a stock GTR and costs $400k! Seriously, a GT2 RS is around $250k and would absolutely obliterate it.

The epitome of Porsche.

LFA: 7:38 Nurburgring
GT2: 7:32 Nurburgring
GT2RS (the car I was talking about): 7:18 Nurburgring
The LFA has a chance against a GT2, but no-chance against a GT2-RS.

I've never seen anything quite as pointless as comparing lap times on the Nordschleife. Besides, if your goal is to go fast on a racetrack, you'll need a team of engineers to ensure everything is optimized for the day you're testing, and you'll want that particular day to have exceptional weather to be sure you've got good balance between grip and horsepower (surely everyone knows power goes up as air gets cooler, and grip goes down as the road surface gets cooler?)
Last but not least, this is about the ISF and GTR. There is a whole subforum for LFA discussions. Let's stay on topic please.

Of course these all happened on the same day under the same weather and traffic conditions...

And to keep it on topic the IS F ran over 8 minutes there. The GT-R is consistently an under 7:40 car there, even as fast as 7:25 or so I think. Thats an eternity!

While the GT-R definitely has its biggest advantage from a dig I wouldn't call it a slouch on the highway. When I had my 2011 GT-R the only race I ever got into was with an older 400hp Viper. We raced from 60ish to just over 150 twice and I beat him handily both times. I was actually pretty shocked at how fast I got to 150. My car was stock except for an HKS resonated mid-pipe and exhaust.
I don't have a doubt that with enough money and time someone could build an IS-F to be quicker than the GT-R. I'm just not that interested in modding cars these days. I'll be perfectly happy puttering along in my bone stock 2012 GT-R with full warranty.
