This is an awesome upgrade. I'd like to see someone do it and pave the way for us guys looking to do it in the future.
Doesn't the 2011 IS-F's needle change from blue to yellow to red as the Rpms increase?
(This is a question coming from someone whom owns a IS250)

From Lexus.com

"The instrument display for the 2011 IS F includes a dramatically different layout. A large tachometer is now centrally positioned, with a digital speedometer and three-step rev indicator located inside its ring. The first step of the rev indicator illuminates at 5,000 rpm; the second, at 5,500 rpm; the illumination of the third depends on which gear the IS F is in. In addition, a smaller, analog-style speedometer is positioned in the bottom right corner."

check out this youtube video. i think the 3 stage refers to warning lights.

Before you stuff a 2011 cluster into a 2010 car, check it out in person.

I thought it looked pretty cool in pictures/videos, but toy-like and flimsy in person. I prefer the old style.

I agree, I prefer the original style.

Im bumping this to see if anyone has anymore recent info in this as i am very intersted in doing the swap. If someone on here with a 2011 - 12 IS-F could take a pic or two of behind their cluster and the wiring harness plugs, im sure it would be greatly appeciated by the community.

The harness shows to be the same part # so it must work IMO, it would take all of 15 min to find out if a 2011 owner is willing to meet up with a 08-10 owner. I'm still shocked no one has done it yet. Ill do the work and volunteer my car if I can get a 2011 owner to step up in DFW.

Fawkin 11 owners, I've noticed, stick their nose up if you don't have the led headlights. I'd be shocked if one stepped up & actually assisted in this.

2011 Cluster doesn't have any clumsy toyish feel or look...It's just completely different look and style from traditional lexus clusters...I used to own 08 F and now have 2011 F for few months and love their new Cluster re-design.

You have to see it in person to appreciate it

The new cluster seems cool ... But it now has a Blue & White needle mix up and the lay out is more track friendly I guess...

Also, the RPM is the only one that cycles on start-up.

I have only experienced the new cluster in race track conditions... So I can't comment on it for daily driving..

Side by side I would have to keep my old one.... (IMHO)

Not sure why you guys want to change? Mine F is an '11, and the tacho just sits at ~1200rpm, and I don't even look at the normal (useless) speedo, only the digital one. The normal one is too small and you can't really read it.

I think they could have done away with the little speedo altogether, and made the digital one a bit bigger.

^^^^And, IMHO, they should have retained the voltmeter and added an oil pressure gauge. There's certainly room in the cluster and I'm certain that information is available.

i agree. my old s2000 has a large and easily legible digital speedo and one can toggle betwen mph or kph easily. It again shows Lexus couldn't make up their mind on funcitonality vs. aesthetics and eventually compromised on a system that is less than optimal in either area.

Overall, i do prefer the '11 panel although i am not ready to spend 1grand for small and trivial improvement.

on the 2012 window sticker (from the JoeZ post in the 2012 ISF Consolidated Changes Thread), i assume it has the new 2011 gauges and it says it has a voltmeter gauge but i failed to find it in the pictures/video of the gauge when turned on... any 2011/2012 owners can chime in? i wonder if it's cyclable through the lower left digital gauge...
