Intakes
So iv been searching on the forums and google etc
there are 3 intakes for the ISF
K&N
Injen
Takeda
i didnt put joe Z in cuz it's not a full replacement kit
it seems to be mixed reviews about these intakes
Quality to power gains
my question is who actually has these intakes and can comment on it
K&N claims to make 28.1hp atw is it true?
takeda cost more than injen is it worth the money?
how much power does each intake give you or any gains at all

I hit 361 on the dyno at JE with an injen intake, more than most stock ISF. It sounds great and Im getting better gas milage than I got with a stock air box. I also have made more power than anyone with a Joe Z intake with header / exhaust. There was also a review recently done by someone on the forum on the K&N intake and Joe Z exhaust that proved it made the 20 wheel they clam.

yeah that is true
though
after iv been searching for a few days
some people calim to have made power (bum dyno or real dyno)
some people calim to have lost power
going by some1 else finding is easy yes
but if own 1 of the above intake i would like to know your personal opinions not a finding that some1 else has posted up

what am i trying to hear here?
can you please tell me?
as for the topic iv read alot about these intakes tbh a takdea intake seems to be pretty much liek a stock airbox with a joeZ piping and a drop in filter
but doest it make that much power over the joe Z + panel filter set up?
k and n claims to make 28hp atw gains though only dyno findings i can find is carried out by k&n
so thats y im actually looking foward to people who have exp on this to make my decision easier

By your comments I can see that you have read nothing about intakes for the F. Even though JoeZ's intake is just an intake pipe, it made more power than the rest (in real life tests). You want to know how I know? Do a search and read the threads, everything is there, posted by real owners doing real tests.

You guys are mean lol, OP to my knowledge Joez Intake pipe + Tom's filter had good results with a lot of members here who has them. It's cuz there is no real heat soak compared to few other intakes.
MotoIQ did a test on K&N intake and posted it does give about 23whp and 7tq when they did their dyno. But as far as real time driving, IDK. Some people are runnin them so maybe they can chime in.
I mean intake is a intake you dont feel your car go rocket fast or anything. Since a lot of people are runnin Joez + drop in filter that yeidled good results. I would go with that.

i must be looking at the wrong thing
only thing that really helped was the Fig's intake thread
and just like most of the threads on CL the threas get filled up with useless random comments so i didnt bother reading half of it
but i think i might go with the K&N or the injen system least these two systems seem to make some gains

My 2 cents, I installed the K&N on my F and instantly noticed a difference and it wasn't the sound. My car was hitting speeds in straightaway parts of road that it hadn't before. Also, my car was loosing traction from increased power that it didn't do before. I think the intake is worth it. I've been driving with my new intake for about 2 weeks now. The gains still feel like they're there and the ECU hasn't adjusted anything to compensate for the increased air volume and flow.
BTW... For the love of god though OP, please use some proper spelling or grammar. Your posts literally pain me to read through.

I've got the JoeZ intake as well as Tom's drop in air filter. In terms of quality, the JoeZ build is clean and thoroughly constructed well. There are many who run this same set up. My second choice would be the Injen, but that would require changing up the housing for the air filter. Along with that, I'm not sure it fits under the plastic panel.
