Right, but Elite isn't going to crack the OEM ECM any more than anyone else claiming to have done this. Toyota is very closed lipped about their engine management code, and they have complete control from the processor design and instruction set, all the way to the high level languages they use every day to build engine management software.

I've been digging at this for many years. If it could be done, it would have been done a long time ago.

not to knock the tuners here in the gold ole US of A or anything but the techs and engineers in japan are so passionate about the performance of japanese based performance automobiles...and they've been at it ever since the F rolled out of the factory...and if they haven't done it yet, like lobuxracer said:

I doubt it was repoed. An older guy that works at Lexus bought it from the original owner. Sometimes he gets it washed down the street from my house.

So then how good is the FIC Splat is using for tuning in his SC'ed F? I understand its a piggyback or signal modifier, but how can it work with the complexity of the F's ECM?

I warned everyone over there but some people still paid him for a tune that didnt work and did nothing andy promised. I also think that person 8speed that started the thread was andy or one of MHP's buddies. It was funny because when andy said he did all this work for big money clients I asked him for some proof via a dyno sheet or from the person he did the tune for and his excuse was that he didnt have to dyno the cars he tuned and the client he did the work for wanted to stay hidden. He claimed he tuned lambo's and veyron's and his clients totally trusted him with messing with their car!!! I mean come on would you let someone tune your million dollar car with no references or proof the tune worked?? what a joke.

And just like lobuxracer said if it hasnt been done by now it wont ever get done. Its a shame though because adding forced induction to this car really is a waste IMO without it because you would be stuck with low boost. It would also be nice to see how much more a stock ISF could gain from tuning too

since the F has 16 injectors (8 port, 8 direct) and the system is 98% direct injection at WOT, it shouldn't be too hard (in theory) to manipulate the port injectors as needed.
