about 5-10% as well... the minute I pop it into sports mode all I want to do is just firmly plant the gas peddle into the car's frame, which is bad for business on so many levels, lol.

Its a very addicting button so far lol. But honestly when I'm in Sport mode and just cruising it seems to get pretty decent gas mileage. But also its not my daily driver, I have an SC 300 for that. Which is very boring now to drive..

Use it everyday without a doubt.... there's nothing like mashing the pedal in sport mode to pass some joker who's slowing up the normal flow of interstate traffic on the commute home.

i usually let her warm up in normal + auto. then its manual + sport all the way baby!

the roar is so intoxicating - nothing beats dropping it a few gears and ripping it after a long day at work!

Almost never, but not because I don't want to. I commute daily in mine so I'm after the best gas mileage. Sport mode is too agressive for good mileage, at least the way that I drive. If I want to pass somebody, I just double pump the gas pedal, and it downshifts pretty quick and kicks in the double stage air intake.

Im actually going to buy a throttle controller because I cant stand the way the car reacts in normal mode. The throttle controller will at least give me some of the sport mode feel.

^^^^The reason it isn't is that Lexus tested the car in Non Sport mode for the EPA to get good MPG numbers so we could avoid the gas guzzler tax. But, most (all) of us use it. I personally think the throttle response is totally unacceptable in non-sport mode. In any event, Lexus has realized this, and in the 2011 models has moved the activation button up from behind the steering wheel, to the steering wheel on the right side under the telephone and display buttons, a very good move IMHO.

Ha its a whole different animal brotha'! The car feels like a "true" track beast with the button. You probably cant imagine how different it is, but trust me your gonna be glad you bought this car.
