The ES should be the next car to be unveiled, then the IS...then LS.

I think the exterior styling of the LF-Gh looks confused. The side profile is the same as today's LS and GS line, but the front and rears are waaay to futuristic looking compared to the rest of the car.

The production model will have all the edges smoothed.

Well, I can tell you this much about the 2nd-gen ISF, do not have any expectations for a more powerful engine. I addressed this topic with my sales guy recently, and he said there are ZERO plans to do much to the engine. They do not want to detract those in the LFA market.
There was a thread discussing this a few weeks ago, and it sounds as though Lexus is indeed afraid of product cannibalization. So, we may get a new body style, but the engine will likely remain extremely close to current specs. Just fyi.
I'm with most of you though, I would love to see this as a coupe.

I can't wait either. Both the next gen GS and IS are due out within the next couple of years.

Does anyone know if there are any 2g-ISF concept photos floating around?

I'm not saying you're wrong as I have no information to counter this, but it seems highly unlikely IMO. The LFA is a completely different class of car (not to mention price point) and significantly limited in production numbers. If anything by not producing a more powerful coupe at the IS-F's current price point lexus will be losing market share to the other manufacturers doing so (cadillac, mercedes, etc).

^---exactly. And if they produce a coupe, it better weigh less than the sedan. I've always thought it was ridiculous to introduce a coupe version of an established sedan that has two less doors but weighs 100 pounds more with the same engine output.

Cadillac did just exactly that...except their engine is puttin out 550+ hp.

Lexus needs to stick with either less weight (coupe version), or more power (all versions). Even a tweak to put it into the 460 at the crank range would be acceptable and worthy of an entirely new generation.

To me, each "generation" of a particular vehicle should exude it's UPGRADED dna. If the previous version was capable of x, make the next generation capable of x+y. Dont just slap a different look to it and leave the actual guts of the car the same.

Mr2Fast and 06isDriver,
Those are points I brought up with him (as they were discussed in a previous thread here), and he still told me there were no future plans to boost the engine. I'm with y'all though. I want to see a weight reduction/coupe/more power.

Don't shoot the messenger . I'm just passing along what I was told by a guy who has been with Lexus for over 20 years. Not to say that makes it scripture. For all we know, the developers and engineers could working on exactly what we're hoping for.

Rumor has it there might be an ISF convertible. But at 400lbs heavier than the current model, they're going to take away from the performance abilities.
