Default Bumperplugs.com Amazing Customer Service

Well it all started a week back when I was ticketed for a missing front license plate. So I had no choice but to have the dealer drill holes in my precious bumper and put that ugly plate on. Of course this was temporary and now I needed a way to fill those ugly holes back in. I had heard good this about bumperplugs.com, but never thought they would be this great. I received the bumperplugs in a timely manner but then ended damaging the plugs due to my own stupidity. Long story short, I explained to them what happened, and they replaced my bumperplugs no questions asked.

So this of my way of thanking bumperplugs.com and getting the word out.

BTW the person I spoke to was Erik, who answered my questions promptly and made sure I installed the replacements correctly this time. So if any of you need bumperplugs in the future, this is the guy to talk to.

So you reverted back to no front license plate, is it worth having another ticket? I am really confused with the application.

Of course I reverted back. Honestly, the fix it ticket is $25 per offense so it is not a big deal. This was the first time I was pulled over in my three years of owning the car so I'll take my chances. 99% of time the cops dont care but sometimes you get caught, it happens.

If you guys are thinking about it, the bumperplugs are paint matched and they look awesome. Way better than the license plate, they look just like parking sensors. If you go to bumperlugs.com they have great pics. Hope that helped.

OMG I can’t believe you found this!! I went as far as having a custom EDM plate made with the CA state seal just to cover up the holes and still look fashionable/legal.

I was considering buying two extra parking sensors and installing them as dummies, but this is way cheaper!

Thanks, I just ordered a pair!

Glad you guys like them. Just be careful installing them so you dont have to go through what I did. Make sure the holes are 1/4 inch in diameter and everything should be ok, whatever u do dont force the plugs in.

It's better than paying $35 again LOL . I agree they are pricey but what they did from a customer service point of view cant be underrated.

They are well known in the Porsche world. They also paint interior consoles etc. They did an amazing job on my 911.

I like them a lot.

I had to re-drill the holes one size bigger than the recommended 1/4 inch, because I didn’t want to force them in. The plugs are nothing more than plastic push plugs generally used for holding plastic interior/exterior panels together. They are however, painted very nicely and match my Star fire pearl perfectly.

My holes resembled much like a volcano from the course lag screws, so I cut them flush with a razorblade and then drilled.

I'll be expecting the cops to pull me over now.

A+

I had this issue with my Acura TL, when we bought it , the car already had the front plate when i took it off I had 2 nice holes, but I simply called acura and told them I need some plugs, they asked what color my TL was and I had a set that same day. AWESOME!
