Hi guys, i have a question.
Do you think a 08 with 70K miles for $32k is a bad deal? The condition of the car is ok, not mint, but doesn't look like it has been abused. Or should i talk it down to $30k?
Please give me some advise, thanks.![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)

Assuming the car is in excellent condition with no accidents, (equipped with nav/lev), a private party price is about $37k... Fair condition price is 32k.... you could probably get it down to 30k... In my experience, you need to be extremely skeptical when buying direct from another person.... Check carfax, ask to test drive, look at everything in and around the car! Be very careful, remeber the car is out of warranty now... anything that goes wrong is on you!

Does it come with any service records? That would be my determining factor in getting a higher mileage car. What's the condition of the tires and brakes? Don't forget to factor that in as well if they need to be replaced. It may be worth spending the extra money to get a well cared for lower mileage car.

This car is not from a private party, its from a lexus dealer. It looks clean. I can't check the brake but the tire needs to be replaced soon, might last 2-3 months. It doesn't come with any service record, i just checked its history on lexusdriver.com, it went to dealer for alignment 5 times in the past.

I'd say bargain it down. $32k is accurate, according to KBB, but 70k miles in less than four years.....that is really racking up the miles in such a short amount of time. Definitely check to make sure nothing's wrong with it, even after Lexus techs deem it to be CPO status. Hopefully there's nothing wrong with it, and you'll be hopping into your F soon!

In my opinion, find one with the basic warranty still in place. If I can afford $32K, then I know I can add a little more $ to find one with at least a year of warranty in place. The piece of mind to me, is the availability of the basic warranty. A performance car like the IS-F that wasn't abused (raced)? Come-on...lol. IOWs, pass on this F!

Now that I think about it. My 08 only has 34k on it now. 70k is too many miles for my taste. Plus no service record. Screw thatu can find better deals on ebay. Shop around. Plus 5 alignements. Ill pass
