I was wondering about spacers to be honest.

I run some on my mk3 supra with the original lugs they just have less thread to tighten down on to. I was told as long as you get 4.5 turns on the lugs you are good by a wheel/tire shop. I don't know the size of the spacers but they are small, and I was going to buy longer lugs but doesn't seem like I need them...

Basically I was thinking the same thing about the stock wheels... If they where pushed out further like BMWS they would look much more cleaners and aggressive.

Anyone know if running a spacer that just pushes out the wheel a bit on the stock lugs is alright?

This wheel/tire shop should have told you to stay away from the spacers in the first place. Any reputable mechanic would recommend against having less thread engagement on wheels and running spacers.

As many times as members ask about spacers, I think there should be a sticky with links to *interesting* threads on spacer failures.

can you run a 20mm spacer in the rear with the fenders rolled? With the 09 wheels?

It should work, but fenders may need to be shaved instead.

I previously ran 25mm in the front and 20mm in the rear on stock '08 wheels. Had to get studs extended; something to consider.

I still have the spacers but can't sell them on here due to not having enough posts on these forums
