Is the cabin filter from the factory carbon impregnated or not? Ordering a new one for my 30K service.

So the Fram filter impregnated with carbon and baking soda arrived. Here it is pictured on the left. You can see there are fewer folds, so less efficient filtering due to reduced surface area. however I believe it is more than adequate to do the job. It was 1/2 the price of the Toyota/Lexus OEM unit from Japan (higher quality than the replacement used by most dealers) so it is significantly cheaper at $18. Fit was good (same size). We'll see how it holds up over time.
