Default Where are good places to look for a used IS-F?

I am in the market for a used 08 IS-F and I have my heart set on Starfire Pearl. I have been searching ebay, autotrader, cars.com, but not finding much haven't skyrocketed the price up? What are some other possible venues on finding one? Thanks...

Look on Carmax.com, I looked a few weeks ago and they had 3 all over the United States. They might not be there anymore because the cars are a must have.

Good luck on finding one.

You can also try searching craigslist for your local area. Some dealerships post up ads on there as well. Let us how that goes.

I looked at Auto Trader around my area in Palm Beach and there is a white one for $37k, it has 44k miles on it. Thats a damn good deal, the car looks good from what I can see. Too bad its no where close to you.

I saw that one. It is a pretty good deal, but more miles than I was hoping to have. Having to fly and drive it back or ship it to me wouldn't be too cheap either. I am holding out to find one closer to home. Thanks for looking!

I'm also in the market for one, but preferably in the Northeast. I would say be patient, you'll find one this summer. I never thought I'd find any near me, but there were 3 in MA and 2 here in NY that I inquired about, but got sold before I could make a trip out to check out the cars. I'd like anything except Matador Red.. since my current car is red.

The members on this forum have said that 3-year leases for F's are ending soon, so some will start hitting the market this summer.

The only advice I can give is, be open to travel, and act quickly when you find a good deal because these cars are selling like hot cakes. And I will do the same!

I found mine on Craigslist. It was from a wholesaler in Dallas. They specialize in luxury performance cars, and try to turn their inventory quickly. Hence, I was able to buy mine several Ks under market value. I bought an '08 w/ only 14k miles on it for 41k. The market was showing an average price ~$47k at the time.

*** EDIT: there were two SFPs in Austin the last time I looked (September), so I will see if I can find anything here

'08 Obsidian w/ 17k miles from same dealer as above
http://houston.craigslist.org/ctd/2363743232.html

$449.59 pmt w/ same terms = $47k.....HELL NO AGAIN

*** Note: multiple searches reveal they have been attempted to sell this one for well over a month. I would not offer anything over $39k for it.
