Water Pump leaking

Ever since I topped off my coolant in September, I just checked and its it shows just below the low mark on the reservoir tank.... so, topping it off lasted me 5 months. I think I'll just keep doing this until I find a dealer who's willing to replace the water pump for cheap (which I doubt that'll happen)

Just dropped my 08 (preowned certified) at the dealer to have my water pump replaced. Noticed the leaking on my front sway bar during an oil change. I just rolled 40k miles...not sure how long it had been leaking for.

I'm new, but I just ran into this thread and though I will add my car to the list. my 08 ISF is going for a waterpump replacement tomorrow! found it actively leaking when I was just topping my washer fluids, I notice the coolant reservoir low, and saw coolant just dripping from the water pump area.

Add me to the list of 08's with a leaking water pump at 50k miles. Noticed it yesterday during the oil change, and it's at the shop right now. Happy I've got the extended warranty!

Add me as well. Just changed oil (Friday) and noticed the dreaded pink evidence. Made an appointment on-line for the water pump replacement. I then stopped by the dealership (I was in the area) Saturday to ensure the part would be available for my car when I dropped it off for the appointment on Tuesday. They had one part on site and will be ordering another one and ensured me one has my name on it. I've got 65,917 miles on my '08.

Another 08 on the list. Last week I noticed my coolant level was low. I brought it in today and got a call from the advisor late this afternoon stating they won't be replacing it because it's an airrated system and the seepage is normal. I was about to go off because it sounded like she was trying to BS me!! However, I understand she is just the messenger so I explained to her its a closed system and I want to talk to the shop manager. He called back and apologized for the miscommunication and that they will be replacing my pump. All I could think of was here we go with another BS dealership trying to get out of replacing parts under warranty. I am thankful it all got cleared up because I have 200 miles until my Powertrain warranty expires!

On my 08 the water pump was replaced last year.
Over the course of the time my coolant always hangs around the low level.
When I top it off after a day it goes back to low.
I have not tried to heavily diagnose the issue but noticed when I add coolant it drips out almost instantly??
Tried filling it when the car is cold to avoid expansion.
Tried distilled water.
Lastly tried running the car hot and working out any bubbles.
I've spoke to other mechanics and one of them said his buddies isf is the same

Thank you guys for posting all this comprehensive info about the pump. I'll check mine in an hour or two, as I have an 08 w/61k and don't know if it was ever replaced by the original owner.
Much appreciated...

This sucks! Glad I bought the extended warranty... My 08' has 17k on it and I just checked.. no leaks.. good I guess but knowing it is going to leak soon isn't a fantastic thought.

My water pump was replaced in October if I recall. Took car to dealer for o/c and they saw that it had a tiny leak. I was waiting on it on a Saturday. The serv. rep came and told me this, gave me a loaner car and then I picked it up good as new on Monday. No charge as it was covered under PWR train warr. I also have a 6 yr / 125k mi b2b ext warr For these type things in future.
