^ I noticed this too .. thought there was something wrong .. I'll leave it in sport from now on ... its amazing the difference in feel with this ON rather than OFF ..

Congrats on your new car!

I think those dots on the wheels are front brake dust. I have them on mine and can't get rid of them either.

Glad to see you picked up an F!

That black is def gonna be harder to maintain and keep clean...but that's why CL has the detailing section!

Congrats!
Regarding power, when on hwy, if you need juice, you're better off putting it in the lower gear, otherwise, while in auto the tranny (with 8 gears) sometimes struggles a bit to find the right gear.
Regarding the wheel pitting, sadly it's somewhat common, keep us posted on what the dealer says. Some have had free replacement I believe. But you need to wax the wheels to keep brake dust from gathering in the paint.

Things to do to solve this:
- Always drive in M-mode
- Always drive in Sport Mode
- Get a TOM's Throttle Controller for quicker throttle response

Yes black is a problem, I used to have problem keeping my GTR and GT3 clean..I was mainly look for white F and i really didn't want another black car but this car is only 60 miles from me and it is available right now so I just went and bought it. Good luck selling your car if you are not like 2500 miles away your car would probably be in my garage now

Man, I want an ISF so bad I can taste it. New one is just too far out of my price range. Owned a '05 G35 and that was fun to drive but I went from a V6 Accord to the G35, lol. I'm sure it would be another similar jump from the G to the F.

I am thinking of going the same route and picking up a lower mileage 2008 F. I haven't purchased a used vehicle in the last 8+ vehicles I have owned... heck.. the last used vehicle was a 1975 VW Rabbit when I was 18.

- prefer Private Party to avoid the sales tax
- can get extended warranty thru credit union where I would finance
- the few '08s within 500 miles of me are going from $43K to $45K with 15k to25k in miles

Just scared to death about buying used after so many years of buying new and peace of mind with full factory warranty.

Congrats on picking up the ISF.. hope to join you someday soon.

^^^As far as I know, even when you purchase from Private party, you will have to pay a sales tax, or a used tax, when you register the vehicle with the DMV. There is no way around this.

So far I'm happy with the car, just quick question for you guys, what kind of gas millege are you guy getting on average? I put full tank of gas last night and drove about 75 miles today and I have a little less than 3/4 tank when I got home. So I guess about 250 miles a tank 50% city 50%hwy?
