Only reason I sold my GTR was I had a 1 and 3 years old and it was impratical for me to take them out in the car. Kids hates it. I got the ISF cause it is 4 door. But I missed my GT-R so much I think I will get another one in very near future

It's a sports car for Christ sake. I rather give up some "comfort" for performance but that's just me and the OP and a lot of other folks.

^^^ Please don't get your panties all in a bunch guys. He is talking about "comfort" in its most basic form (e.g., ergonomics, seats, leg room ingress/egress), especially the back seats. And yes, I know his comparison is not a 1:1.....but "comfort" is why we all chose the ISFs (SC, etc.) and not a full-fledge sports car, right?

No where does he say that Nissan engineering and the whole history of the GTR being a POS blah blah blah. This "hater" BS is being thrown around wayyyyy too much. Please chill.....

Can't wait to see pics of the SS! I'm going out on a limb and say his next car, 6 months from now will be a R8.

ya but "POS" is a BIG statement...thats like saying "the ISF is a POS in performance compared to the GTR"...not fair to compare them in that sense...although the GTR would completely dominate in all facets of that arena

While not the case of the OP, I think some people just want the fastest thing they can afford. To many, that's the GTR. I think if a rocket was to come out with a seat and wheels on it and it was affordable (and legal), people would get it and brag how they could beat anybody. I kid, I kid.

As for me, I like the F because it's the hottest Lexus there is, IMO. It is the looks that sold me. I love the 2nd gen IS and have had all three - IS250, IS350, ISF. Plus, I've had an ES300 and RX330. I just love Lexus and doubt I'll ever venture anywhere else. A GTR will beat an F at the track, but I don't mind. I still have a big smile on my face and enjoy my F.

Sounds like the OP just likes fast cars and has the luxury of being able to own different kinds. I'm glad he got a GTR to satisfy himself. I wish I would have got an F to begin with instead of first going through an IS250 and IS350.
