i have a crashed isf and im thinking that getting a 250 chassis and swapping might be cheaper. i just need to know that everything will fit smoothly and not get hiccups after starting the project

Not worth it. The engine block for the IS F costs $21,000 USD. Add heads, trans and everything else, you're probably looking at close to $40k USD by the time you're done. You're better off buying an IS F instead.

The front end sheet metal from the suspension mounts forward is different. Radiator support, stub frame, all slightly different. It might work, but it's a pretty sizable gamble unless you can put the IS-F front clip on the 250.
