As the title says can anyone recommend some good sounding DVD-A disks for the ML system? I have Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and it sounds pretty good.

You can try the Blueman Group. I also enjoy The Eagles' Hell Freezes Over. It's a DVD but you can start the disc in DTS surround and let it play while driving.

Picked up a few and they sound quite good, probably the best source material for the ML system that there is.

I have the Metallica Black album and I find it too harsh for the surround sound even in the house. I prefer Metallica in the headphones while lifting weights in the gym

 

Whoops now that you mention it I have that one as well. It is ok but it is not a surround DVD. Although Only I think 4 of mine are actual surround DVDs. I also caution those with 08-09 ML that not all DVD-A disks work. I have one I will look tonight what it is that will not play or even be recognized.
