Wait so does the Lexus lettering have holes behind it?...I want to remove it if there are no holes to deal with it. I never noticed that the 2011 IS-F didn't have the Lexus lettering, thanks for the info.

There might be an IS250 owner who just bought an IS-F replica body kit off ebay who'd love to buy those badges from ya. LOL

Don't know about the PRE-2011 MY but the 2011 doesn't have the lexus lettering or holes...dealers usually put their own name like "lexus of......" at back of the trunk. Mine is clean ..only has the Lexus logo and ISF( right lower side of trunk) at the back.

HA!...I see what you did there.

Bobisf: Thanks for the info, I guess I'll have to live with the Lexus lettering then. I just don't want to pay for filling in the holes that may not even totally color match the oem paint. It's just a headache I'd rather stay away from I guess.

This isn't bad actually... gives it more of a sleeper look. Although I don't think I would ever de-badge mine

I don't know about this. IMHO, I'm not even a big fan of blacking out the emblems. I tried plastidipping (I just created a new verb) my emblems and it kinda took the class away from the car. I think the fat Lexus symbol looks very sophisticated and the F symbols are eye catchers. It seems like Lexus made sure there are holes behind the emblems because they could never imagine someone debadging their F!

honestly all this de-badging makes it look like a kit car... but to each their own.

Yes starting in 2011 many Lexus models dropped the "Lexus" from the rear, its just the emblem and the model name.

my whole thing about shaving all the emblems off is that for me, i don't want ne logos on my car..im in the process of taking out the emblem on the front grill but im kinda slacking on it..i think cars look a lot more "clean" when the emblems are removed..imo
