Yes we are def going to meet up again. Maybe at MIR or summit point. We also discussed going to a park and renting a pavilion for the day. The first option sounded more intriguing but def something on the weekend for next time.

Your name was mentioned when the topic of wheel mounting was discussed. The fronts are going to be corrected and the rears are on the correct side. You must be physic or your contrast is higher than mine to catch that. I'll keep an eye out for correct intake clampage...
You're welcome, it was my pleasure to be able to attend and report. I think I can safely say that no one has ever had the opportunity to talk with a bunch of "F" owners before buying one or seeing every color from all angles. Blue is still our favored color and gray has moved way up the scale. It was a six hour drive, an overnight stay and totally worth it. The 2011 has a lot going for it and it's a possibility that we get a new car rather than used when the time comes. You can't get that out of a dealers brochure...

If I see them wrong, I want to let the owner know to have them corrected.. So that they "flow" in the right direction.
If mine were on wrong, I would want some one to tell me..
Lexus solved this problem in 2010 with a new wheel design..
Plus they save thousands of dollars by only producing Front & Rear wheels for the new 2010 & 2011's... (2 Part numbers)
The 2008 & 2009 IS-F wheels carry 4 different part numbers, for the corner specific wheels.
*Missing clamp on the Intake can cause a check engine light if the pipe or sleeve shifts.. So ALL 4 clamps must be correctly installed..

Joe Z

Even though I haven't said much about it, I don't own a ISF. I have a Grand Am and I have been a
GAOwnersClub.com member for eight years. Pontiac stopped making cars in 2005.
Every year Club ECM (East Coast Motorsports) has hosted a car event in Albany NY. It has turned from
a GA event to a car event open to anyone. It's like 50 close friends getting together every year and will
continue as long as people show up. There are a bunch of Grand Am's and many other makes.
My wife commented that the group at JEImports were similar to the GAOC guys. Just the cars are different.
I posted the following about a month ago inviting Lexus owners.

The bright side to this.. Is after they replace the right side, you can have them replace the left side too..
Since the golden baked tips are not going to match the brand new stainless tips.
Talk to you soon.

Thanks for your opinion. I like them better then stock that's why I had them custom made. Everyone has different likes and tastes. I guess I'm a bit old school with the five stars.
