Default Any isf non staggered?

I was think about this today does anyone have a non staggered fitment like for instance 19x9.5 around pushing 255s all around? Why wouldn't you have non staggered vs a staggered set up on an f? FYI I did search and nothing came up for the f.

Yes, some one has a non staggered set up. I don't remember who it was or what size tires. IIRC, it was so he could rotate his track tires.

Non-staggered - SCCAForums ran Enkei PF01s in 18x9.5 +45ET with 285/30/18 Hoosier R6s on all four corners.

I'd love to figure out a way to do this with the OEM wheels, but there's no easy way to accomplish this - you'd have to widen the wheel and run spacers to make up for the added width.

^^ Pure hotness

Mind posting your wheel specs? E.g., offset, weight, brand, model, etc.?

Would like to duplicate this someday.

Do you have any rubbing issues? (Full lock, full suspension compression, etc.)

Volk re30 18x9 +30 all the way around, never weighed em.. pretty light tho compared to TE37. 275/35. shave fenders and mod front fenderliner. No rub lock to lock. Was about a 1inch lower then stock no rubing on fast turns/cornering

You run these everyday? Does anyone think an isf really needs to be staggered? Any advantages either way?

No advantage to staggered setup. Square reduces understeer, and as heavy as the F is, it needs a LOT of rubber under it. Put it this way - I put 245/40/17s with 8.5" rims on a Scion tC, up from the OEM 215/45/17 on 7" rims. Mid corner speed went up an easy 6 mph (faster than my Supra on OEM sized tires!). This is on a 2915 lb car. Since the F is another 800 lbs or so (at least mine is), it stands to reason the car would be quite a bit faster with 315s or even 335s on all four corners to improve lateral grip.

I would not personally advocate a 9" rim. Too narrow for a 275 - it should be 9.5", or better still 10.0", and with a 30mm offset, you've got to do a lot of trimming, where the Enkei PF01s in a 9.5 with a 45mm offset can run 285 Hoosier R6's with no trimming anything.

If you just want the look, run whatever you can rig up.

That's a driver problem, not a tire problem.
