Would you spend 75k$ on a factory tuned IS-F with ~25% more hp?

25% more HP would bring it to 520, and if it could be had for ~$75k, that certainly sounds appealing. But with this price range and HP class, maybe a high performing GS would be better suited. The thought of a factory tuned, 520 HP IS F would be great, despite it carrying a $75k tag.

"Factory tuned" would carry the Lexus warranty and maintain Lexus reliability (Lexus would not release an upgrade that did not keep their reliability), so yes, I would pay $75K for a factory 520hp IS-F.

So you and Steve would PRIORITIZE the warranty part
As do I

What else would you have in mind at a 75k$ price point, how would it differ from a regular IS-F

Magnetorheological suspension or some other form of in-cabin adjustable suspension. Also, a more aggressive wheel and tire set-up.

I would strongly consider it. However, I wouldn't get one based on horsepower alone. I'd want it to look a little different too to set it apart from other F's.

I would jump on a booasted 500hp+ ISF, but if it was just non-FI bolt on's, I'd built it from stock and screw the warranty. Turbo/SC going bad is considerably worse than headers or exhaust going bad.

Boost? Toyota? Toyota is apparently as afraid of boost as they are floor mats. So a 25% hp gain would mean going to 7 liters N/A. The front end would be so heavy each F would come with Roseann Barr sitting on the trunk lid to provide enough downforce so the rear wheels would touch the ground.

You do know that more displacement doesn't necessarily mean more weight. The corvette LS series is the perfect example and sets a great standard IMO.

I know its asking for a bit much, but boost is about the only way im going to buy another ISF. GTR or 911 from now on for me
