Is it safe/advisable to put 245s all the way around?
NTB is doing a buy 3 get 1 free on Michelin Super Sports this weekend, but they are out of the 225s and 255s. The guy checked and said 245s are allowable on all 4, but I wanted to check with some resident experts! :-)
I called Lexus, and they did not advise it b/c it would mess up the alignment, speed calibration, etc.
What do you guys think?

Hey friend, I see you are in texas
Any reason you didn't use Discount Tire? Those guys will ship tires from any location nationwide so you can get whatever size you want
I had to wait a few days but they even got me 305mm PS2s (even though ps2s are supposedly on backorder, same with conti dsw3s)

Just spur of the moment curiosity after I saw the commercial.
Discount Tire is where I planned on going, but curiosity got the best of me.
I'm not so sure it's a good deal. In order to get the 4th tire free, you have to purchase the $114 alignment, which is good for as many times as I want to use it within 12 months. They are also charging $42 per tire for something that I remember sounded like a rip off, but he said was also required thru this deal. Basically the equivalent of roadside assistance for tires or something, which we all already have through Lexus.
In the end, the total price is roughly $1,250 for either OEM sizes or the 245s, but I'm pretty sure I can get it cheaper thru DT. Their OEM is $1,048 before install, labor, etc.
EDIT: So it's virtually the same price at DT as NTB. $1,242 at NTB and $1,243 at DT. Hmm....
Hey, are the TPMS Rebuild Kits necessary? Also, I think the $42 thing at NTB is the "replacement/repair" package at DT b/c it's also $42; however, with DT it's optional whereas NTB requires it. SO, if that is correct, then NTB is going to have the better deal by about $175 after taxes.

I wouldn't do it. Lexus themselves told you no. What more do you need? This car already lacks traction in the rear, why would you consider going narrower?
I would go 245/275 like many others here have.
