How do I get XM in my F?
I have been researching getting Satellite radio for my 08 IS-F and it seems like you cannot get the parts anymore. I have the antenna, but no receiver as if I hit the sat button nothing happens. I'm sure others have gone other routes, so just looking for answers. I want plug and play and to use the stock fin antenna. Thanks!

lexus doesn't carry the xm tuner for the isf anymore??? unit + brackets i think around 300 bucks and it goes into the trunk
otherwise you can go with vaistech, also fully plug and play, maybe about the same price and there is an adapter and you can connect that to the sharkfin

86180-0W032 is the part number for the tuner, the fit kit is 86100‑0W220. It appears to be available from a number of sources when I Googled this part number. The fit kit is discontinued, so you may have to poke around a bit to find one.
The Sirius unit is PTS31-53060 with PTS31-53070 for the install kit. It would seem Lexus is pushing owners to Sirius.

It looks like the tuner is easy to find on ebay too, but not much look finding the fit kit. What exactly is the fit kit for? I even called Lexus and they said there are 26 tuners available in the US, but no fit kits.

Hey Kevin, I have the complete install with pics at work I can print for ya and fax to you tomorrow if you like. I used the XM for the first 6 mths I owned my car and switched to Pandora radio via my iphone and have NEVER looked back. First off the reception in my area sucked, second, customer service is in the Philippine's!!! ARRGGGG, and I hated paying to listen to commercials, third and finally the sound quality on XM simply STINKS OUT LOUD!! Our normal radio stations in the area sound at least twice as good and clear, there is virtually NO treble to be had on XM in my area, and it is a pretty large metro area. just Google sound quality and XM and you will see what I mean, they have cut the hell out of the signal now that they are joined with Sirius. who needs 200 channels of baseball!!? Pandora for life!!
