Wow.. those are really old school and pretty rare. Unfortunately, the design is really dated and not in style anymore... Did this come from another car?
I always appreciate JDM wheels but I don't think the style fits the F very well. To each his own!
The guy I bought them from apparently picked them up from a guy who had them on an LS400. He was going to put them on his Acura Legend, but the offsets were way too aggressive. The pictures don't really do them justice, they look like a set of mesh wheels with concavity to them. Not sure they look dated compared to other mesh wheels you see these days.
I don't know anyone who would agree with this unless low price is your primary concern. I'd run PS2 AS before I'd run the Generals. I've driven them on rentals and their inability to grip in the rain frightens me.
My first exposure to Generals was on my '06 GMC 1500, it came with Ameritracs. I had a blowout (my first ever) at 2300 miles, and a leaker at 9000 miles. I replaced all of them at 10K miles with Goodyears. My new truck came with Generals. The first thing I did to the truck was pull off the wheels and tires and sell them on Craigslist. I'm now running an 18" OEM alloy wheel with Michelins. I swear I will never ride on another General tire. They are, IMHO, crap tires.
Generals actually aren't a bad tire for a DD. Decent grip, quiet, good wear, and perfect in rain. Not my first choice either to be honest, but I bought rims before that had them on there already and was pleasantly surprised
