Default mark levison sub

Does anyone know if the non mark levinson sub would be able to replace the mark levinson. Just don't care to pay 300 dollars for another crappy speaker

The ML sub is a free air sub.

If i remember correctly, the ML sub is a different size than the regular sub; therefore you can't fit the regular sub in without a lot of modifications.

No not really into big base just can't stand the blown speaker sound and really don't want to waste more money on a sub par speaker

Amen on the horrible quality of the stock sub. I just got a call from the dealership and they told me that in addition to the woofer in my front door, the rear sub is blown as well. I already had a blown tweeter in the passenger door and also the center dash speaker, so now this makes 4 blown speakers and the car just hit 50K. And I don't even blast the stereo at all, I rarely have it past '40'.

This is what I did. The sound is much better - especially on XM.

OP let me know what speaker/sub you decide to go with. I'm not really satisfied with my sound either...

what size driver is the sub? I'll poke around and see if I can come up with some substitutions (no pun intended).
Andy

Look at one of these: JL Audio 8IB4 a 8" free air sub.
