Default 3 newb questions

I was reading the owners manual and:

-It says not to wax the headlights cause it will cause damage.
Is that true?? Because I've done this in all my prev cars.

-It says if your gonna recharge the battery to disconnect the battery negative. Even with a Battery Tender? I've never disconnected the battery before to use the tender

-When modding: Should I pull the fuses or let the ecu relearn on its own?
I read people say it feels like a monster when they reset it
thx

There's no need to wax the headlights or tail lights. Just put some 3M protective film on the headlights and call it good.

The ECU will relearn on it's own. I didn't reset anything after installing aftermarket exhaust and intake systems.

I dont believe you need to disconnect the battery if it on a tender
