83 in a 55
Well Boys .....
1 week into having the IS-F and pulled over doing 83 in a 55. He wasn't a ***** and brought it down to 70 in a 55 .... maybe I can plead it down from there.

There's no hard truth, but these are my impressions based on research:
Compared to the Escort Passport 9500xi, the V1 has better range but will also false more due to its sensitivity. The 9500ix has built-in GPS and records false traps, the V1 does not. The V1 has arrows, the 9500ix does not. Both are very good.
Compared to the Escort Redline, the V1 is about the same range-wise (the Redline might be just a touch better in some tests). The Redline doesn't have arrows since they're patented by V1.
In other words, if you live in an area where falsing will be a problem, the 9500ix would be a better choice. If you're concerned with the ultimate range, it's either the V1 or the Redline. I personally stick with the V1 because I can't live without the arrows.
