Default F oil change

I just picked up my F this past sunday and have been enjoying since. What's the average price i am looking at for an oil change on the F at a Lexus dealership?

^^ $155 at least, they charge double of what you buy the oil for at Costco or other stores.

I really wouldn't know, since I change my own oil, but if you want a Lexus dealer to change your oil, why not give a couple of them a call? I'm sure the price varies by dealer. You may also want to query a Toyota dealer, they tend to charge a bit less.

Do it yourself, the easiest car to do oil changes on. And you know you did it right. I can't stand shops who drain the oil and plug it back even when there is still a steady stream of oil coming out, thinking its good enough.

What car ramps do you guys suggest for the F? What's a good brand of oil? If u switch to synthetic u cannot go back is that true? And what about a blend?

Getting the correct tool for the oil filter removal is a wise move, otherwise you will have to improvise. I use a large universal oil filter prier and it works fine. Just got to be gentle the teeth don’t mar up the cap.

Other than this, it’s easy. 10qts and a filter.

Lexus dealers typically allow you to bring your oil, aka 2 x 5 qt Mobil 1 from Wally World.
Then they charge around $50 for filter + labor.

If you plan on changing the oil yourself, a fumoto valve will make the job easier.

I bring my own Mobil 1 and oil filter to the dealer here and they charge $38 OTD.

$95 at the dealer for mineral based oil which is what is recommended in the manual.

I use these from Race Ramps to get a jack under my car.

Do they sell it at the dealer? Would you happen to have the part # for that or model?

I had that on my last 2 cars. It was great and zero problems.
What does the F family think about this product? Anybody use it?

I just pay $70 at the dealer for an oil change. It's not worth my time to do it for that price.
