Hey all thanks for the insights and the telling of your experiences. Truly, I do as most of you and ignore most of these people. This truck incident just seemed so bizaar to me and as I stated, I did ignore him. I guess he didn't like that so he kept it up. Believe me, I realize the dangers of street racing even in a car like the IS F which is built for speed, handling and stopping. Too much at stake which really made me wonder what this guy was thinking speeding in a huge vehicle made for hauling stuff not racing. Oh well, at least tonight's drive was nice and pleasant.

The ppl driving the nicer cars in my area usually back off once they see the 350 emblem. So I have yet to be bother by any bmws/audis or other lexus'. Its usually the beaters like this chevy malibu last week that ride my *** wanting me to start it. I'd rather not waste the gas tho so I usually let them do what they will to justify their POS. In your case though I would have outran the guy and if I'd have been pulled over I would tell the cop he was chasing me/trying to run me off the road (its worked before).

To the OP, I've had 335s, M3s, Honda fart-can civics, and double-winged Acura RSX Type-S and standard trim try to race me. The ricers sound so loud when they rev up and they floor it. A few seconds later I floor it and leave them behind. After I slow down back to normal speeds, they leave me alone cuz they know they've been had.

This kinda crap happened all the time when I had the G35. Bad thing is I took a few of those challenges and won all but one (a Vette kicked my raw behind). It got aggravating. It made me realize I love driving fast but it is very dangerous with so many poor driviers on the road. Especially in south Florida with many immigrants who never drove where they are from.
Next time I get a quick car I am going to ignore all of them.

This happens pretty often to me too... 350z's, g37's, 335's, a4's and most recently a RX8 that all think riding my *** will incite me, then after a few minutes of that I give and show them the business... M3's, RS4's, c63's and higher are the only ones really worth my fuel tho. Last week on the highway a cop paces next to me while I'm doing the speed limit and actually rolled down the window and waved me on, telling me to speed up and show him whats up... I obliged and took off doing bout 120mph in front of him... made my month!

I don't really get too many random challenges with my F.. I guess that means I need some more mods??
For some reason my buddy in a c6 z06 is the exact opposite and worse. Besides non-stop challenges, he gets cut off multiple times a cruise night, people just rage against his car for some reason. We'll be out cruising with a pack of cars; modded evos, supras, s2ks, m3s, and the z06.. everytime he gets people cutting him off, blocking, or chasing him. No one else really ever has a problem with random drivers, just the vette.
Even parked his car is a magnet. He came out from a movie to find foot prints running up and over his vette. Or parked on the street, and came back to it egged! Hes not an A-hole driver either, pissing people off on the road.. its all the car.

This never happens in my F. It happens all the time in my Supra. I ignore the idiots, they're not worth the wasted gas.
