Road and Track was a 2008, pre-eLSD drive to begin with...Even Top Gear was unable to get a faster track times with the M3, and they are Teutonic auto maniacs.

How about Audi RS/S6, RS/S7, S8......quattro with launch control is probably the fastest and easiest way to get these monsters to 60

S7-4.5; 155 mph
S8-3.9; 130 mph
F kills them all on the track as well. S8 is an anomaly: ocean line with a kick and a strapped top track speed.
