It's not a chip. Its a module with a reflash in it. The bad part is, this has never worked in US spec ECMs because they're different from the Japanese ones in many ways.
I have hoped many times for a Japanese tuner to have a recalibration for US Spec cars, but it never happens. It is also a near zero probability the JDM ECM will even connect to a US spec harness.

I think jackson racing might be working on a supercharger setup for the ISF. I'm ready to hand my car off to them when they have the time. They are in the process of relocation rite now I believe.

chip, module, whatever you want to call it...$4100 for it is crazy....i can look into if a jdm ecu will connect tho. maybe at least get the pinout diagram from the dealer here and post it up for you guys.

I asked them if they are making a kit and they said no. They said a Rotrex SC for a 5L V8 is around 2300.
I wonder how much a custom fabricated tube system, mounting plate and pulley would cost. I wonder if you can just bolt it on and keep the boost a 5-6 and see what happens. Or add an intercooler like the icode. Too bad there is not an electric motor driven Rotrex available.
Too bad we don't have more info on Splats SC experience.
