It is totaly possible to do a Stand Alone or Piggy Back ECU setup. We had an IS-F at the shop I used to work at that
had a fully built Darton sleeved motor, that we were doing a complete turbo kit including engine management. Unfortunately the customer had some personal things come up and he wasn't able to finnish the project. If anyone on here is interested in being the RnD test dummy, I'd be willing to continue the development that I started at my old shop. I'll do all the labor for free, but you'd have to pay for parts. I work closely with an EMS company that has almost finalized its Direct Injection control and is currently testing on a BMW 135i, it'll be a short matter of time before its 100% ready and can be easily adapted to the IS-F.. Even if that weren't the case there's another way to do it which is how I had planned to do it originally. Hit me up if anyone is interested..
I've done a lot of parallel ECU and full stand alone setups and have a lot of experience with doing so. I just finished a 1500HP Gallardo that was build by boost logic that I did a complete stand alone on. Anyways. Let me know.

With all the claims of tuning in the works with some success behind them(from the sounds of it) this blower kits sounds like it could be back in the cards for usdm isf owners. I would buy this kit without there tuning option if the guys at pro efi are successful with their tuning option

Honestly all you need is the bracket asembley that holds the blower....you can buy rotex units direct. I can find dozens of race shops in the states that can build intercooler pipe and a better intercooler set up than I code did. I have no idea why they have all that extra intercooler piping when they easily could have done a vertical flow intercoole and cut out a least a foot of piping
